(Work)Work

After a lot of drinking Cheryl, John, and I came up with a lovely Emergency Activity. I am tentivley calling it (Work)Work. The thought is this: All of us work, a lot. For obvious reasons that doesn’t mean we are producing stuff for ourselves. Most of our design/art/craft energies go to other projects for other people. It would be interesting to see what the hell we all do all day. The good, the bad, the ugly. So we are proposing this sporadic series of events where one of us presents (Work)Work. But when?!

Up first, by volunteering, Cheryl. I hear she has built a super-duper model, rocked some details, and listened to a lot of NPR. The proposed date is this Saturday (yay, Mike & A-Train will be here!) late afternoon at the weiss / manfredi factory. Followed by dinner (shiki?!) and face rocking.

What say you?

I dig it. I think I got a sneak peak of the model a few weeks ago when I got keys to feed los gatos.

You guys are in for a treat when you see all the TV graphics I’ve done in my day!

Ok, this sounds good. I would love to see cheryl’s place of bidniss. For the meeting, the later in the day the better for me (would like to get a full day in the studio on sat.)
Sweet.

Nicole has an opening at PS1 in mid october…perhaps we could do me then. Actually, john and i might be in Canada that weekend but we could go to the show….

That sounds fab Audrey! I’m excited to have you guys come into the office. I was thinking we could meet up at 5/5:30? Is that late enough for you Audrey? I’ll have to come scope out the scene before you guys get here to make sure no one else is here and to prepare materials for you to see….sort of sad that i can’t count on the place being deserted on a Saturday afternoon….

Oh! This sounds really fun! I’ve really been wondering what Cheryl has been up to at work, so this will be a good opportunity to finally figure that out. Word.

Shiki? I was thinking Florent?

I have dinner and brunch plans that I’ve rescheduled a couple times already. I’ll be around for other festivities and face-rocking though.
