Blog is back up, year is ending, people are busy.

You all may have noticed a bit of down time on the ‘ol blog, well blame MediaTemple. It’s back and will soon be better than ever with all the new fancy stuff going on with it’s backend. mmm fancy backends.

In related news (to the website being down, not fancy backends) Cheryl and I got our wedding website up and running, we are so two point oooh.

For those of you who occasionally dabble in Everyday I have been working on the 2008 version. It started with the thought of moving operations to flickr but keeping the non-flickr homepage. Now I’m not so sure about flickr usage. Let me know what you think. This site is pulling from an Everyday Flickr group. It could work with pixelpost as well.

Also, I made this sweet ‘08 logo/tshirt/whatever. There is also a little bit of the new spiceship identity peeking through in the corner, but I wouldn’t want to give it all away.

Also, Also. Two 4 Tuesday tomorrow at the Soft Spot. Who’s comin’ with me!?!?

The gettin hitched site looks good. I can’t wait to visit the vast wilderness of west Virginia!!

As for the new Everyday site, it looks pretty cool. Would it still be based on the order that the pics are updated? And would there still be size limits? I am trying real hard to take more photos, but obviously not hard enough.

It would be based on the order that photos are added to the everyday group. (that can’t be changed and isn’t ideal) But I could limit people to 1 photo per day, meaning if you miss a day, you’ve missed it, but that seems too intense. one of the best things about flickr is that there will be no size limits at all.

Nice wedding site! And shirt/whatever!

I like the specialness of how everyday is now, as a separate thing from flickr and other photo sharing sites. Without all the crap around in the area around the photos.

And I’m there for two for Tuesday!
