Audrey Bucket and the great glass residency

blogmountain.jpg
Audrey has been accepted to the Robert M. Macnamara residency in Maine (because she is the best)!!!

“Located in an island community (a 3-hour drive from Boston and one hour from Portland, ME), the program is centered in a vintage structure situated on three acres fronted by the Sheepscot River and backed by a tidal, saltwater marsh. A nearby family-owned compound of more than 250 acres provides additional accommodations and studio space for visiting artists.”

She will be artin’ from March 21 to May 1 this summer (party at our apartment).

Dang Audrey!! That’s cool stuff. It sounds like a much cooler version of the Alexander Compound and a much, much, much, much cooler version of the Branch Davidian Compound.

Well done Audrey! I read a pretty good book about a guy going to an artist community in new england somewhere. But I bet you’ll have a much better time than he did!
