This afternoon I took the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) test and passed! I’m very excited. (perhaps I should have used an exclamation point there). I should now be referred to as Cheryl Maliszewski, LEED AP (that’s six letters!).

Last night Patrick and I went to a lecture at the Cooper Union given by Cecil Balmond, a structural engineer working with Arup out of london. He showed some super hot projects that I’ll share with you now….
Shigeru Ban – Forest Park, St. Louis pavilion – reciprocal grid (I can’t really find any images of this one…)

Currently only displaying Jeff & Cheryl because I had to edit the PP code.
This new backend displays the most recent 30 uploaded photos, jumbling the users and organizing by upload time. This will keep the homepage always fresh and when someone doesn’t update for a while they just won’t have any photos up there, no getting “kicked off” needed. You do lose the ability to just know where people are and instantly know whose photo it is, but I think the jumble may be more interesting (at least more surprising, like “Oh shit Paul C took that, huh.”)
Anyway, let me know your thoughts on this change or of any other ideas on how to display everyday. thanks.
