The idea has been tossed around to start a “book club”. It would really just be another reason to get together and drink with the added bonus of something to talk to you people about. I went ahead (with the input of a few others) and created this “book club”. Naming it ‘Book Lub’. ‘Cause we, like, totally lub books. First meeting next Wednesday the 24th at Iona. This club is not Emergency exclusive so here is an invite for everyone to pass around to other people that you know can read:

Finally, I have aquired an awesome studio space! My spirit was almost crushed by continual letdowns and lots of money for nothing. However, I perservered and I think this will be a good one. Stats:
Private studio avec character.
400 sq ft, 12 ft ceilings, 2 windows, wood floors w/ 10 other studios on the floor.
Communal kitchen, shower, washer/dryer, internet. Built out all crazy.
No lease at all. Nice people. Starting Feb. 1st. Only a couple of blocks away.
Now….I have to make stuff for ya’ll to come by and criticize (in a productive fashion).

I just added some professional experience to my website in hopes of procuring new employment. So I was going to see if you all would do a bit of proofing for me. I’ve looked at it and Jeff’s looked at it, but you know how it goes. Does that seem to be an ok way of calling out professional work? Anyhoo…let me know. Thanks.

I hope that everyone had a comfy and cozy holiday and a socially lubricated new year. As all of you probably already know Missy finally worked up enough guts to ask me to marry her. As a reward for her courage I gave her this ring.
