I don’t think I posted anything about this on here, but I’m a motion graphics finalist in the First Boards Awards. Work is flying me out to L.A. to go to the awards show next Thursday, so Omaha, NE will no longer be the farthest west I’ve ever traveled!
Jeff & Paul are competing to represent the good ole’ USofA in an international advertising competition in Cannes, France this summer. This is their ticket (all expenses paid of course) This is also a secret, so even though it is super awesome and you just have to share it with everyone, please don’t.
I just got word that plo and I were shortlisted for the competition we did in February. They selected our project, along w/ five others, to display at the Royal Acedemy of Arts Museum in London. They will announce the winners at the show opening in London on April 17th. They’ve requested that Plo and I come to the opening as well, so maybe we’ll get to go!
I got a promotion today. You shall all now refer to me as Jeff Baxter, Designer. I have also been listening to this song a lot(link, mp3 “missed the boat” -modest mouse). It talks about a promotion in the sort of cynical way that I actually feel about it. yay!
