Happy Birthday Nike+
Nike+ is 1 year old today. And nobody got cake. Cake is bad for babies I think.
Updates, updates!!!
I have updated my website and coroflot portfolio with my Thesis work if anyone is interested in checking it out. You can view it here and here.
Also, I am trying to put my portfolio together and look for a jobby job in NYC so if anyone has any suggestions for artists, designers, etc. that I should look at please feel free to post or e-mail me anything that might help.
I Lost.
As many of you have already heard I am not an Emerging Artist. The Daimler Chrysler Emerging Artist Award was given to my arch-nemesis Dharmesh, his cohort Marty and their faithful sidekick, the cnc mill. One can only assume that the person that some of you may know as Marty McElveen is in fact Marty McFly. What I had believed to be a cnc mill was actually a clever rouse to hide the fact that they had a time-traveling DMC delorean. This enabled them to travel back to 1992 when this type of work was actually considered “emerging”
I find comfort in the fact that, although I did not receive the “Emerging Artist Award”, I am part of a much greater entity known as Emergency Studio. Click here to see “cutting edge” architecture work.
Meat n’ Design
Congrats to john for getting a two person show! They are going to exhibit everything he has and it’s going to be fabulous. The show is for the Meatpacking District Design Week and during the week of the ICFF. Opening is on Sunday, ya’ll… see you there!

Matt sells some work!
Yeah, we’ve been hearing a lot about Matt lately, but here is another notch on his post…Matt sold three pieces in the Cranbrook Art Auction! HardCopy started at $150 and finally went for $1800 in the live auction…PrototypeRocker and SideTableVase went for about $250 each in the silent auction. It was really exciting. Yay Matt!
