This has been bugging me since I saw this painting back in July…I remembered the painter today, for some strange reason. 
This is “Ariadne Asleep on Naxos” by John Vanderlyn, 1820. Just an FYI for everyone…

My application was approved for a studio on S 2ND and Bedford. I’m going to sign the lease on Wednesday and will move in on Sept 1. I’ll be sure to have everyone over 2 at a time so we can fit.
